I think it's [clearly] about someone who feels broken & lost and trying to find something... and the only place they feel at home or safe is with that person.
This song made me cry the first time I heard it, the lyrics are so beautiful. It's about someone who's just pieced together i guess (maybe I'm taking it too literally), but they're just falling apart, and this person that they're with gives them such comfort,
