Actions and Motives Lyrics
Verse 1:
Wait, the fact you did it
And don’t admit it won't make you innocent.
Fate finds you wicked and turns you victim for everything you have done.
So justify the reason to kill, I bet you will.
Fooling no-one but yourself
I wish you well.
Bridge:
O what tangled webs we weave, when we practice to deceive.
I know you well, I know you well.
Chorus:
Actions and motives
Bear the cross, wear the crown,
There’s just some evil you can’t bleed out.
Hell has to notice
Your actions and motives.
Bear the cross, wear the crown,
There’s just some evil you can’t bleed out.
Verse 2:
I just don’t get it, how you manage to justify who dies.
Like judge and jury, you’re the very one who crucifies.
Don’t get your hands dirty to kill,
Use someone else.
Know all your lies are measured in hell.
I wish you well.
(Bridge)
(Chorus x 2)
Wait, the fact you did it
And don’t admit it won't make you innocent.
Fate finds you wicked and turns you victim for everything you have done.
So justify the reason to kill, I bet you will.
Fooling no-one but yourself

I have met these guys. According to Jesse, this song is not directed at George Bush as much as it is pointing the finger at any public figure that has done crappy things.
"An eye for an eye". "The term eye for an eye was not just about retribution, but also about mercy - in ancient times, the punishment often far exceeded the crime." http://en.wikipedihttp://www.google.com "You reap what you sow" etc. You can't bleed sins clean; you have to tell the truth to wash your soul! All you have to do is repent. Bloodshed only leads to more bloodshed. Killing only leads to more killing. The wicked will be held accountable.
I think this song tells about how people are deceitful.
"The fact you did it And don’t admit" "So justify the reason to kill, that you will Fooling no one but your self"
However, the song states that fate will "find you wicked and turn you victim for everything you have done."
The song mainly emphasizes the wrongdoings of being deceitful in the way that the song mentions how a person's actions and motives "bear the cross, wear the crown." This was Jesus's "punishment" and I think that, in the song, it tells how some of peoples' actions and motives make them corrupt and mischievous.
I believe this song talks about our parlimentry sp* system and how the constructs of war aren't seen so much by the president or 'decision makers,' but more the soldiers or anyone on the other end of a scaling system whether it be a boss and a peon or like i said our government and troops. The decisions they make aren't taken to heart and ppl die, maybe for the wrong reasons instead of the right.
One person comes to mind when I listen to this song, George Walker Bush.
Yeah, I thought of Bush too. However I think it can be applied to others as well. It's basically how they're living things their way when all they have to do is justify it in their heads, but that doesn't make them right. Yet they're so corrupt they don't see it clearly.
Ah! There's a verse wrong. 'So justify the reason to kill. I bet you will. Fooling no one but yourself. I wish you well.' Is what it's supposed to be. I have the CD and it says so in the lyrics inside it!

The point of this song is social aggression. When people use others to attack a person, and they act as if there hands are clean in the whole thing. Girls do it all the time, but the phrase is social aggression.
