Just Can't Win

Agree with the last two posts. His songs go way deep and have multiple meanings, like MJK. And he did say 'it is also about how we're all a little schizophrenic', or something like that, at a concert.

HAHAHAH i agree with the person who said its an identity issue and he doesnt know who he is anymore... but im glad to know im not the only weirdo who thought the song was about a schizophrenic.. lol =)

i love this song because it can relate to so many people. for me, this song perfectly describes my relationship with my dad. My dad can be the biggest dick, but i cant win because he is still my dad, and we share the same reflection.

I love this song, my favorite line is the second verse "I dont recognize my own reflection in the mirror. Its a ghost of what once was." There was a time a while back when i was down a deep well, and thats exactly how i felt, this whole song is how i felt. Love 10 years so much, their songs are so deep and cryptic and the music just sends chills down my spine.

This song reminds me of multiple personalities.

Great Song! Amazing! Sounds pretty familiar 2 a situation ive been in 4 a while now.......idk if its personal 2 Jesse or not but it says to me that its a about a relationship that has lots of problems....he cant win meaning that no matter what he does 2 fix the problems they have 2gether its useless. He feels that part of him is this girl, which shows the strength of the love he has for her. He also feels that even with all these problems, he cant let go because his feelings are that strong for her like when you know someone is so wrong for you but your feelings get in the way of your judgement and you dont want to leave them. Also, the problems with their relationship are so severe that his mind and body are not insync with eachother. He continues to change for the better of their relationship and she stays the same......He is confused but does not want to let her go.

I think that this song goes a lot deeper than a relationship he wants out of... I think that it is more of a identity thing.

since jesse in heavly in influenced by Maynard James Keenan (tool,a perfect circle) i think it goes mutch deeper how we all let our egos run show and controll our lives and he is realizing that

I think this song is bout a bad relationship and one of the people wants to leave but cant because their heart belongs with their other.
