I can't believe more people haven't commented on this song.

I think it is absolutely beautiful. To me, this song is just about being grateful to be alive and experience the simple things in life.

Anyone who lives in Seattle knows how true this is. Though you wouldn't guess it from the last couple weeks...

I think 'the winded breeze' is 'the wind, it breathes'. (oops - didn't mean to reply to spacegame's post)

I also think that the line is "What a life I lead when the wind, it breathes" (Just like how they say 'Sun, it rises')

Also, I am 100% positive that the second verse says 'What a life I lead when that ancient seed is a-buried, watered, and plowed'

Absolutely beautiful song. Amazing harmonies especially on the live versions.

Be thankful for being alive each single day, thanks to the sun for coming out and giving each one of us a new beginning. Amazing song.
