Sleepless Again Lyrics
Hopeless times approach
Just give into the chaos
Strangely I find comfort here
Impatient and curious of what may come
And so the rampage begins
Against the headache I can't win
[Chorus]
Drain me
Keep me in the dark.
I Don't want to take part
Prefer to be forever numb
Nothing great can come out of this
But I'm hostage to myself
I fear I might collapse
On the Razor's edge
And I fear I'll Realize when it's too late
[Chorus]
Sleepless again
I need to ease my mind
And kill what Burns
Inside
Sleepless again
[Chorus]
Just give into the chaos
Strangely I find comfort here
Impatient and curious of what may come
Against the headache I can't win
Drain me
Keep me in the dark.
I Don't want to take part
Prefer to be forever numb
But I'm hostage to myself
I fear I might collapse
On the Razor's edge
And I fear I'll Realize when it's too late
I need to ease my mind
And kill what Burns
Inside
Sleepless again

i love the beginning acoustic guitars, i wish they replayed during or at the end of the song.
its so cool and it only lasts like 8 seconds.
i find that the meaning could be about him fighting himself and his emotion and how he feels comfortable within his own sadness and how he feels numb to any other emotion
my personal faourite off ASOP, amazing guitar work, keyboards and a perfect solo
Same here. The intro just draws me in and the rest is history in the making. Best piece imo.

This part gives me the feeling it's about people who see chaos on the news (for example 9/11), but are have so nothing to do with it (for example live in a total different country), that they find this news quite 'amusing' almost, as if they like it when something happens.
Just my idea about that part, can't really get an idea of the other part.
ignore the "are" in my post >
this song sounds alot like being addicted to drugs with a yearning to quit
so does alias but there both great songs
this song is about choosing to ignore a problem and not deat with it anymore/at all. saying "fuck it" and looking the other way
this song makes me feel weak and helpless
