Silence Lyrics
Esteja alerta para as regras dos três
O que você dá, retornará para você
Essa lição, você tem que aprender
Você só ganha o que você merece
Tempted in our minds
Tormented inside lie
Wounded and afraid
Inside my head
Falling through changes
Did you know when you lost?
Did you know when I wanted?
Did you know what I lost?
Do you know what I wanted?
Empty in our hearts
Crying out in silence
Wandered out of reach
Too far to speak
Drifting unable
Did you know when you lost?
Did you know when I wanted?
Did you know what I lost?
Do you know what I wanted?
O que você dá, retornará para você
Essa lição, você tem que aprender
Você só ganha o que você merece
Tormented inside lie
Wounded and afraid
Inside my head
Falling through changes
Did you know when I wanted?
Did you know what I lost?
Do you know what I wanted?
Crying out in silence
Wandered out of reach
Too far to speak
Drifting unable
Did you know when I wanted?
Did you know what I lost?
Do you know what I wanted?

This song's working name was "Wicca". The album it's on is called "Third". If you google the Wiccan Rule of Three, you'll find out the gist of the Portuguese sample:
"Ever mind the Rule of Three, Three times what thou givest returns to thee, This lesson well, thou must learn, Thee only gets what thou dost earn."
Basically a version of moral reciprocity: the Golden Rule, karma, whatever. This suggests that the kind of heartache, frustration, and despair described in the album's lyrics may often have an overlooked source (i.e. take a look in the mirror).
this song just cuts off. it's building up, building up, building up, and then...silence. intentional, i suppose?
I knew they were Wiccans! I knew it. lol
It sounds like she is singing to a loved one who has hurt or disappointed her.
My personal interpretation is that she's mourning the loss of an unborn child, like a miscarriage or something. Her partner doesn't understand the pain she's dealing with because he did a runner and now she suffers in silence.
The way the track abrubtly ends symbolises the sudden loss of the unborn child
