Yep, about her life in Estonia, pretty self explanatory. :) Oh && for anyone who may have been interested, the part in Estonian translates to:

A reindeer has a little house in the forest He's looking out from a small window The rabbit is running towards the house And he stops in the doorway Knock-knock, open up There's an evil hunter in the forest The reindeer says to the rabbit Come inside and shake my hand

i love this song!! sweet! i want to learn estonian!!! thats so funny ive seen that estonian part translated like 3 different ways.. one said moose instead of reindeer.. and one said something else that evil hunter...HUNTERS ARE EVIL GO VEGETARIAN SAY WHAT YOU WANT YOU ARE STILL A KILLER IN MY EYES!!!!!!!!!

I love this song first off. So this is my analysis of it: I do not think Kerli is speaking fondly of her homeland. For one the song is called "Creepshow." That is pretty self-explainitory.

"Ice cream mountains and Chocolate skies." Ice cream is cold, freezing even- freezing mountains. Frigid. Unpleasent. Chocolate is brown, brown dirty skies.

"Cinnamon houses and licorice flies." Cinnamon is a flavoring and it has a dusty feel to it. Houses made from it wouldn;t be very stable. And the licorice flies. Even if the other imagery was speaking fondly by comparing her homeland to candy, this line changes it all. Why mention flies? Flies aren't pleasent, and they are generally only present around filth. Licorice is black, so black flies.

She uses clever words and marvelous imagery. It's almost sarcastic and sort of reminds me of Hansel and Gretal. The witch's house was made from candy and looked pleasent, but it really was a horrid place and almost led to their death. In Estonia, she hints at in her music, she couldn't reach her full potential.

In an interview Kerli said this song is about home life in Estonia, and how it seems that no one knows where it is. :] simple.

i like the candy references ^-^ it would be so awesome to have ice cream mountains, chocolate kisses, cinnamon houses, and licorice houses. Also totally agree with mmnnn hhmmnnn...hunters SUCK

Well, mayamoo has a made a mistake in the translation - põder, in Estonian is nothing else than a moose/elk. Põhjapõder, however, would be a reindeer.

Since it is an Estonian folk song, having a reindeer in the lyrics would not make any sense, since reindeer need a little more cold climate for living than we have in Estonia. But, we have plenty of rabbits and elks/moose running around in the woods :)

i think cuz shes goth-ish she uses happy cheery stuff to describe her home that she finds weird and creepy hense creepshow

I love this song(: but the Estonian part is kinda creepy....

As U guys all know kerli is from Estonia, Russia The song is talking about us americans of how we all R creepshows to her when she came here.
