it's not my fave song and i dont listen to it often but i have freckles that i havent always liked and "'cause a face without freckles is like a sky without stars" kinda makes me feel good
i think this song is really good for a younger audience, im a bit older now so i already know that i dont need to look like anyone else but me ... but i know in high school it was all about doing whats cool and ugh all the 'populars' and the 'semi-populars' all looked the fucking same it was so anoying same designs from the same brand clothing, same uggly uggs, same pin straight hair, same jewelry, same bags, same makeup same speech ..... and this song really advocates individuality and doing and being who YOU want to be just listen to the words "Those little imperfections make you beautiful, lovable, valuable," i swear thats not bs i've known guys who have said something along that line, guys dont like girls that all look the fu*king same! and the ones that do look like clones them selves! ew!

I absolutely love the first verse! It's so amazing!
It makes me sad that no one comments this song, but as cheesy as some of the lyrics are I really really like this song. It just kind of makes you feel good about yourself, a lot of her songs do that. What makes you different makes you beautiful, can't be a better message than that =)
i think she's talking about imperfections... and how it would be boring and bland without them. or kinda sad like a sky w/ out stars. and that you shouldn't want to trade yourself in for a better "perfect" model.
How she doesn't think of people's remarks now. She just sees what beautiful in the mirror...not the imperfections...and that her imperfections don't take her back...they make her unique :D
