Pretty much explains with the lyrics that there is someone close them and wants to protect their said special person
yeah, but is it about a girl wanting to be some kind of stepford girlfriend for her bf? whats up with that "if you got a good one, put your hands up" part?
She's saying some woman live to serve there man because their man does everything they can to be a good man hence "good one." She's saying let it be known that your man is a keeper.

Great song. The singer is a martyr-like figure who cradles her man in her wings like a guardian angel. The song presents a pleasantly interesting twist in the typical gender roles in a relationship, as the singer is the "provider" and "protector". Unlike the "ball-bashing" aspects of feminism, I really like this gentle yet resilient facet in the female role.
I'm not really sure why she says "I wish somebody would disrespect my man..." I assume she might have been saying she wants the chance to be a badass or something and defend her man but this obviously confusing lyric was corrected for the music video version, which goes "If somebody should disrespect my love..."
