Before anyone even comments on the lyrical accuracy, I googled the song and this was the only version that came up, post the corrections and i'll fix them, but please spare the hissy fits.
Now on to what the song means. I think everyone would agree it's about craig's sanity and the problems the band faced ever since their breakthrough. First time I heard the song it got me DOWN. Along with the zen demo version of 'Don't Go', this is one of the darkest songs i've heard by them.
It's really interesting how the entire song is in the key of E minor but it randomly ends on E major... like the whole thing is about having a mental breakdown and just when you were about to give up hope, a glimmer of optimism appears.
