Little Garçon Lyrics
I don't care just where you go
As long, as long as it's with me
I don't mind just what you do
As long, as long as it's with me, too
Well I get told to never get old
But the way it unfolds
I'm a little garçon in my head
With a little fille that's stuck in bed
Well I get told to never get old
But the way it unfolds
I'm a little garçon in my head
With a little fille that's stuck in bed
Oh, I get told (I get told) to never get old (to never get old)
But the way it unfolds (but the way it unfolds)
I'm a little garçon in my head (I'm a little garçon in my head)
With a little fille that's stuck in bed (with a little fille that's stuck in bed)
(repeat)
Oh, okay, yeah, that's where you go
Oh, come and dance with me
I don't care just where you go
As long, as long as it's with me
As long, as long as it's with me
I don't mind just what you do
As long, as long as it's with me, too
But the way it unfolds
I'm a little garçon in my head
With a little fille that's stuck in bed
But the way it unfolds
I'm a little garçon in my head
With a little fille that's stuck in bed
But the way it unfolds (but the way it unfolds)
I'm a little garçon in my head (I'm a little garçon in my head)
With a little fille that's stuck in bed (with a little fille that's stuck in bed)
Oh, come and dance with me
As long, as long as it's with me

i love this album. its so sweet and genuine.
It's about being young and carefree. Very well played out. The attitude of the song screams out simplicity and freedom. A poppy, loose melody.
Garçon is french for boy. Fille is french for girl. How Canadian of them. :)
Wow, "fille" makes it even better, I thought it was "feet." And I thought it was "but the WEIGHT unfolds." Thanks!
I'm think the last two lines of the song are actually repeats of the first two lines.
You're right.
i think the message inside this song is:
"i'm always feeling young as long as i'm with you"
or something
I think they are singing Garçon as that is the French for boy

well of course it's garçon. unless born ruffians's french knowledge is just as bad as chickenflicker's i. e. sure luke lalonde's singing can be a bit vague from time to time, but really it's almost enevitable to catch this one right. someone better change this.

It's garçon, not garçon (ç -> that's a pi!)
EXACTLY. I don't learn French, and i know from Google that it's definitely, "Garçon" which is pronounced very nicely by Luke LaLonde.
I'm pretty sure the part written down at then end as: "Oh, okay, yeah, that's where you go Oh, come and dance with me
I don't care just where you go As long, as long as it's with me"
is actually the same as the beginning stanza. so it should be: "I don't care just where you go As long, as long as it's with me I don't mind just what you do As long, as long as it's with me, too"
i love born ruffians. :D
