I love this song, brought tears to my eyes the first time i heard it.
I think maybe it could be somthing matt wrote about maybe a lover that he has to leave on tour, or even in the past about a job that took up a lot of his time, but all he really wanted to do was stay with them eg: we could fall of the earth, between the sheets I know" and "this lifestyle has been sleeping, been counting hours"

favourite song off the new cd. i would give anything to see them play it live.as for the meaning, i think the girl has broken off the relationship but he's seen it coming "And your words have been foreseen" but he doesn't want it to end and wants to "find some room to breathe". he can't sleep properly and he's really gonna miss her etc.
