Rhapsody On A Windy Night Lyrics

Set the lines on fire
It’s what you do to me constantly

Burning with desire
It’s what you take from me patiently

So burn all your bridges and learn
That it’s the only way that your voice will be heard

Take me out tonight
It’s what you do to me constantly

What’s beyond the lines?
Why won’t you follow me gracefully?

So burn all your bridges and learn
That it’s the only way that your voice will be heard
Come on baby
Burn all your bridges and learn
That this could take a while

I remember all the times we talked
Every time you acted like a stranger
And all the times that we were left here

Have you ever been inside these walls?
Could you tell a killer from a savior?
And could you tell me how you got here?

Cause can’t you see
That we could be frozen here in time

And can’t you bend
And just pretend you didn’t start the fire

Stay,
My love [x4]

I fucking love this song.

as if for no one to comment it >< WTF lol

also I think this is about a relationship that has maybe been on a break for a while now, and he is keen to go back to being together because he wants her, but I think she has sorta moved on from it and doesn't really want it anymore.

i love this song!

i think it may be about a relationship that was just about the passion, "Burning with desire It’s what you take from me patiently"

and suddenly they realised that there was nothing behind it. "Every time you acted like a stranger",

and then she began cutting everyone off, and then trying to go back to them, "Burn all your bridges and learn That this could take a while"

and then he's blaming her for causing all of it, but denying it, "And just pretend you didn’t start the fire"

and they're both trying to work out if they're good for each other, "Could you tell a killer from a savior?"

idk. just my interpretation.
