    General CommentI think this song explores how sometimes you need the pain to see things clear.

    Sometimes when you're in love with someone and it's not right or unrequited, you don't see things clearly (ie., blind). You feel it's right, but it's not (ie., plagues your mind).

    But as soon as they're out of the way... you can shine.
