I think he is just taking a little walk down memory lane through his memories of Millencolin. With all the references to old Millencolin songs and the rhetorical questions, he is sorta looking back and analysing the path that the band has taken. Maybe also highlights for him personally. He is brining up the questions some of those songs asked about himself as a person, and he seems to be rephrasing those questions for himself, to see if he has figured anything out since. once again assessing his growth as a person, along with the band.

That's what i think anyway. Was anybody at the concert that played like two weeks ago at the Roundhouse, UNSW? That was the best damn concert ever!!!!! They played a variety of new and old songs. The energy was amazing!!!! No Cigar, Penguins and Polarbears, Cash or Clash, Bullion, Detox, Machine 15, and a few others that aren't coming to mind at the moment. lol

Great song! The new album looks really promising. And these lyrics... gets me nostalgic...

i love their new song :) makes me wanna listen to all their old stuff. btw it seems to me like he is singing "i'm not the same the years have past" instead of "i'm not gonna sing" but i may be wrong :/

yeah I'm not sure these are the correct lyrics, I just listened to the song a few times and wrote down what I thought the lyrics were.

and "I'm not the same." sounds better tbh. tho then I think the other part would be "the years have passed"

^ The above lyrics are what I got from the song, I increased the volume on the voices and turned down the volume of the instruments, and then listened to it at half speed. I'm pretty sure they are incredibly accurate.

One difference in the lyrics... its NOT "In a SOPHMORE" do you trust

but "in a SOFTWORLD do you trust"

softworld is a an older song of thiers and fits better then sophmore seeing how theres many old references to older songs

yeah those lyrics seem more correct bateman.cards the stuff I posted was what I thougth after listening to the song 2 or 3 times a few minutes after it got online at millencolin.com =P hope some dude will change it soon =)
