The first time I heard this song, I fell in love with it. It reminds me of a song you'd hear playing in the background of an old black-and-white movie. The lyrics fit right with it, too. They are so simple, but so powerful at the same time. I think she's saying, "I am singing this song to help you understand that I love you and need you, and I'd give anything for you."
Yes, you took the words right out of my mouth! :D This song is BEAUTIFUL especially the violon part. Gave me shivers when I heard her sing it on Oprah sometime in January of this year.
