Alice Practice Lyrics

Hi

Scars will heal soon
This drug in us spent the earth down

Better than drowning in a burlap sack
Alice load. Alice! Attack!

Children shouldn't play with dead things
Foaming crows
Tear at their wings
Sad eyes cry crimson blood

Drop it it's dead
Wheels won't turn they won't turn the birdy's head
Sad eyes sad eyes like sharpened daggers
You'll never walk only stagger
Sad eyes quite cryptic

Bye

Okay guys, this song has no particular meaning. Alice Glass was secretly recorded during a soundcheck before the recording session by the sound engineer, and later he presented it to them as an extra track.

So why call it a song? Why produce it? And why listen to it? Man, there has got to be ONE song by this band I can muster up some respect for...

This is exactly what I hear, and I've listened this song song hundreds of times. I really don't see how some of you are getting "birdy's head" and "Christian" and "cryptic".

Hi Scars will heal soon This drug in us Split the earth Down

Better than drowning In a burlap Sack I live long Alice attack

Children shouldn't Play with dead things Only crawl Till our lonely sad eyes Cry crimson Blood

Drop it, it's dead Well retrun and take the body home Sad eyes

Sad eyes like sharpened daggers See, you'll never walk Only stagger Sad eyes Cry crimson Blood

Ok, so I've read the lyrics on the official website and listened to the track, she says what she says. But I've given this a one up because having listened to it with your lyrics, it sounds like she says this too!! XD

I really like this 'version', if you can call it that, especially "This drug in us, split the earth down" and "Alice attack". Sick ^ ^

Please people don't start arguing over this comment, I'm just saying, I like both and I kinda prefer these lyrics, even though she doesn't say it. It's my...

At some point, she definitely says: Children shouldn't play with dead things.

Ahh, it's after "I lisp, I die", which I think is: I live, I die.

But whatever...

it's def 'children shouldn't play with dead things', not 'sugar-shooting bled like deadbeats'

This song makes me think of my old Amiga 600, particulerly the noises the games made when loading. It also makes me feel kinda empty and sad...without knowing why.

No idea what it means, but what an awesome song. This is honestly the highlight of any Crystal Castles live show.

the first line is totally "scars won't heal" but otherwise this sounds pretty accurate to me.

im pretty sure this song has something to do with drugs and heroin.. "sugar shooting" referring to how she finds shooting up as sweet as sugar

and "bled with deadbeats" bleeding from the injection maybe.

and "you'll never walk only stagger" refering to being high and not being able to walk...

just a thought... let me know what you think
