I don't think Songmeaning1's interpretation is entirely correct. Drawing from the songs alone, it sounds like the album has to do with the destruction of mankind, but not necessarily by alien hands.
The lyrics of this song are spoken as if through some technological vocoder, as if an advanced society came upon some object and couldn't tell what it was. They determine that it is a Tombstone. The end of human civilization.
I fail to see where aliens have anything to do with this. They have not been mentioned in any of the songs on the album.
its almost unfair to the music world how good this band is
War of the worlds-like alien invasion theory: I think this is part 4 (part 1 being 'intro')
Is it a war zone? Is it a freak show? Is it a terrordome? Is it a radio? Is it a firewall? Is it a death toll Is it an atom bomb? Is it a tombstone?
The humans seeing the alien capsules rain down and all wondering what they are. In different ways they are all right...
THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL - NOT WAR OF THE WORLDS!!!
It sounds like someone, anyone, wondering about the end of the world. Like any typical science-fiction plot, that ends in mass deaths.
Terrordome? No idea what that could be. Whatever happens, it ends in destruction.
Also, the video for this song is just so creative.
great song, but probably not enough lyrics to really interpret what the juggers are talking about its obviously something apocalyptic, but the song simply poses questions
