Yes, it's a great song. And, yes, I agree with your sentiment. However, being with a person in memories is not the same as being with them. Memories begin to fade over time while new people come into our lives and eventually stay. Once they stay, the memories take on far less importance, and eventually are reflected on more seldom. Life is not about dreams, memories, or even regrets. It's about today, now, the future.
