Kind of reminds me of "anytime you need a friend" by Mariah.. but better XD I love this! Great song to showcase Leona's talent!
She said she was inspired to write this after listening to "Anytime You Need A Friend." This is a great song. It's about telling someone you'll ALWAYS be there for them.
It's obviously about two friends who got in love with each other, but then it didn't work out. They broke up, and promised to be there for each other whenever they needed somebody to be there.
Seems like she's still in love with him, she hasn't got over him yet.

For me this song could possibly be about someone grieving the loss of someone close. It's just for me the words in this song can be related as when grieving you feel pain, emptiness, lonely, lost, alone. It's like a friend telling you that you won't be alone through your grief and that they'll help you because they know you can't handle or go through it on your own.
