It's one of those melodies that you can't get out of your head the first time you hear it! Definitely one of my fav songs from Spirit.
Love this song! All of the album is pretty good, but this song really stuck out. I reckon it's about a relationship that's ended. And all throughout the relationship, the guy was just pretending and acting and lying, he was never his real self. And she finally got up the courage to end it. It's such a strong song, it's really good.

i absolutely el-oh-vee-ee this song! :] it is about one of those relationships where the just gives and forgives then gives and the bloke takes and takes... in an unapologetic way. she is basically saying 'who are you putting a show on for when there isnt anyone else? so just end this already!' its empowering but sad.
this song is about a woman lashing at her exboyfriend and about how he told her everything he knew she wanted to hear but it was all lies. it was all empty promises. and she got sick of trying to convince herself that someday everything he promised her was going to happen. she realized that she deserves better and that she deserves someone who appreciates her.
it starts off pretty angry but towards the end you realize exactly how sad she is about having to lose him. she gave him her entire heart and she got nothing in return.

I loove this song :D yeah i agreee, i think it's to do with a bad break up, and thinking that it was her fault, but know she realises that it was him and his lying, and him being something else than what she thought he was
i love this song and i can relate... this song is deffinatly about a relationship where she gave her all and he didnt in return..didnt take it as seriously but acted like he was into it as much as her....and he obviously never realised she would guess...this song is also saying people can see through you now!
