I Take All the Blame Lyrics

Press to my knees
Give them hope
And new joys
Bend and lean
On me when
You feel that
Strange dream
Fill my bath
With gold night
Air through my lungs
Limping on two legs again

Don't you think that I've been given up?
Don't you think that I've been given up?
Change, I take the blame
I take the blame
I move away

Space in my life
Give me yours
Room to grow
Pull my ears
Back with words
Heartbeats hurt
You have my chest
Full of cold night
Air in my lungs
Limping on two legs again

Don't you think that I've been giving up?
Don't you think that I've been giving up?
Change, I take the blame
I take the blame
I move . . .

This is my favorite of the two B-Sides on the EP. It has the usual quirkiness of a Sara song, which is what I love about her songs.

I think this song is about someone having good intentions and trying to help, but when things go wrong they will admit they've wronged even if they haven't, since they just want everyone to be happy.

This is also my favorite from the EP as well. Sara's astute writing ability and diagnostic way with creating music is so manipulating and i get so attached to all of her work.

Maybe it's also meant to aim towards this idea this person wants to surrender into something because they don't want confrontation; it's just too much for them to handle.

I'd just like to say that I adore the hand claps in this song. It sounds like a breakup song, like an apology and admittance of guilt. You would think on that kind of song no one would want to use hand claps. But I think they're great in this song. Haha.

I do think its about relationship problems I don't know if its a break up song though.

Just because she is giving up she doesn't want her to give up, like make me 'week in the knees' "Press to my knees Give them hope And new joys"

And "You have my Chest, full of cold night Air in my lungs" you have me but its just cold night air.

I could be way off.
