ok, well I think this song is about a love that they thought was real but in the end it turned out not to be. It's like they were forcing it, but it was never really real.
I think this song is about falling in love with the idea of being together. Like falling in and out of love. One minute you're the happiest together, but then you realize in the next that you weren't actually in love at all. You live in the moment, but when the moment's gone there's nothing left but the memory.
That's my thought, at least. Nevertheless, it's a beautiful song. I'd never expect a song like this from Sonny, but yet again he brings us another suprise. A very GOOD suprise ^_^
i think it means that two people loved each other for a night, they wanted ot be together, it was lust, and they thought it was more, and in the heat of the moment, they seemed to be in love. the next morning, he wakes up and it hits him, they were never in love, and she seems to know it too.
i love this song so much, theres so much meaning in it to me, and its just a powerful song, lyrics and music combined. sonny is a genius if you ask me.
It makes me think of a lot of one-night-stands I've had. I often think that there could be something more, except in the morning, I walk her to her place, or call a cab or whatever, then when she's left, I realise 'Wait... She probably just didn't care. Fuck it.' A lot of people can relate to this song, I think.
