i love this song it's so beautifully sad
i think it's about a girl who will never dance again because her boyfriend broke up with her on the dancefloor (a reallly heartless thing to do by the way). And it has really scarred her so she decides she lost her heart on the dancefloor.
The song is so beautiful and the sugababes reallly compliment it. Love it !!!!!
I think the whole song is a metaphor. I think the whole "never gonna dance again" bit is saying you're never going to love again. It's after a break up but you can't bring yourself to have a good time so instead you just think about the old times when you had fun enjoying the music/enjoying being with the person you love. In the end when you try to get over the person you love (or when you try to dance), it's hard and still painful. There's nothing your friends (of the DJ) can do to help you.
I love how even the melody is so sad but not too slow at the same time.
