this is such a kickass song! no idea what it's about though, except maybe a girlfriend whose boyfriends knows that she doesn't love him.. but that seems to obvious

dude i agree with capn brando...one of the best breakdowns have ever heard geeeez you talk about being pissed...i love carnifex but i think their lyrics are way to childish...they need more mature lyrics like instead of saying lie to my face throughout the whole song he should say shit like...give me all that you can when it comes to who you are...do what your best at and lie to my mother fucking face!...bitch!...lol

minus_the_herd, for one they don't even SOUND like Suicide Silence. Suicide Silence is more brutal. And of course a lot of deathcore bands use the same notes (especially for 0,4,3,1 palm muting), but come on. The majority play in Drop B or some even Drop A, so give them a break. It's not like fuckin classic rock. It doesn't all sound the same.

If you listen to Carnifex, Bring Me The Horizon, and Born of Osiris, they all sound different in their own way. Sure, Suicide Silence sounds a lot like Job For A Cowboy and Annotations of an Autopsy, but they don't sound like Here Comes The Kraken or Arsonists Get All The Girls or With Blood Comes Cleansing. There will always be bands that sound very similar in ANY genre.

ANYWAY, badass song. If you appreciate Screamo, then the lyrics are badass as well. It's obviously about a girl cheating and not caring about it. The guy knows, so he's trying to convince her to stop acting like he doesn't. Simple.

anyway, I actually don't think carnifex sounds like suicide silence, but Scott(the vocalist) definately jocks on mitch like a little bitch, he copies mitch's stage performance and everything.

I don't even listen to SS anymore, but they are still way better than this shitty deathcore attempt.

xReality it doesnt fucking matter where he got his stage presence or who he sounds like. I saw Carnifex a few weeks ago and the place went off so publicizing your apparent distaste for a band that has a pretty decent fanbase is a waste of time.

He very blatant in the lyrics the song is clearly about someone who was a romantic interest and he had put his whole heart and trust into that person and that person was very deceptive and manipulative.

The most impressive lyric in this song is: 'Of all the stupid things in my life I fell for this I fell for this' Think about all the asinine bullshit you see or put up with everyday and the one thing you trust the most is what eventually brings you to your knees..... very powerful song

You gusy are all fucking faggots... Carnifex rules, I got to play a show with them and then we all went out to the dinner together after and chilled. they are one of the coolest most downto earth dudes i've ever met...and if you think they sound like S.S of any other band your just musically retarted. yeah i agree they have some generic parts but what fucking band doesnt. the Stones have generic parts but people still cream over them. You dont know hwta your talking about...
