Living Without You Lyrics

So sit still
cause I'm not quite sure it's your time
Well, it's your time
This seems pointless and I know it
but it's taking a toll on me
I'm lost
and i don't know where to go now,
without you now
but it's not the same here,
without you here
but i'm holding on

my life is changing
while your eyes are fading
my hands are shaking
This moment haunting every minute
well my life is changing
while your eyes are fading
this moment haunting it

it's so hard
just to watch the curtains close
when lifes at an end
im walking away now with my head down
but i know who i am
it's a fall that i won't get up from
and i hope he was right
cause this is the first time
in a long time
that i felt out of place

my life is changing
while your eyes are fading
my hands are shaking
this moment haunting every minute
well my life is changing
while your eyes are fading
this moment haunting it

my life is changing
while your eyes are fading
well my hands are shaking
and this moment
haunting every minute
well my life is changing
while your eyes are fading
and this moment haunting it

I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about this band after Save It broke up. But these lyrics completely won me over. They're so real and vivid. They pinpoint the emotions of someone who is losing someone they've had for a long time exactly. I'm not sure if they meant this to literally mean someone is dying as the lyrics hint at, or if that's just a sort of figure of speaking. As in, these two are just going seperate ways now. either way these are brilliant lyrics, very beautifully written.

I am pretty sure that this song is talking about Daniel Lancasters father. He died sometime in 2007. The song "Forever My Father" by Go Radio is a song where Jason, Erin, and Daniel Lancaster all sing about their father's death. I can only assume this is Daniel's lyrical tribute.

Veggie, I was wondering the same thing. But the more I listen to the song, the more I think that it is referencing someone literally dying.

Someone obviously very close and meaningful to the author, possibly a grandparent or a close friend.

I'm almost completely sure Daniel wrote this song write after his dad died in 07...

I love the emotion that is in this song. it's hard to not cry when I listen to it. and if you want to hear another song about his dad, check out GO RADIO's song FOREVER MY FATHER [myspace.com/goradio] there's even more emotion, and daniel does guest vocals on it. :D
