Joyride Lyrics

What have we started?
Reverse full commotion
Predictions and planets aligned
Fire my apprentice
The expert back benches
Predict or decline
Send an explosive goodbye
To my restraint

Cover my ears and close my eyes
This is our last joyride
If the abyss doesn't hide
Then I don't want to hear
I just cover my ears and close my eyes
And when our next joyride
Hits an abyss and we collide
You _____ cover my ears if I cover your eyes

No stopping momentum
Slow motion collision
No stopping momentum
Slow motion collision

Ask me a question
I'm under hypnosis
Unconscious and barely alive
I feel terrific
Effect soporific
My honest reply
Until the opposite side
Returns full strength
Cover my ears and close my eyes
And when the next joyride
Hits an abyss and we collide
You _____ cover my ears if I cover your eyes

No stopping momentum
Slow motion collision
No stopping momentum
Slow motion collision

No stopping momentum
Slow motion collision
No stopping momentum
Slow motion collision

i think its about how some people want to ignore the things happening in our world (the war) and also the line "send an explosive goodbye" reminds me of a suicide bomber.

its "then i don't want to hear" not "then i turn my ear" :)

lol i love this song, but there are a few lyrics in here that i definitely did not hear as that, the biggest on being "no stopping momentum"

i always hear "no, stop it, momentum" as in being forlorn that there is no stopping this momentum.

but anyways, can't wait for a new album and possibly official lyrics with its release to sort all this out.
