More Time

This song has great meaning in my life right. To me, It's about a relationship. Telling the other person not to worry about things, in time it will get better. I am going through something similar with the love of my life. She believes need time to grow but to do it separated. It's very hard but I am trying my best to do it for her. I just wish it was an easy road, but it's not.

So I guess that could also apply to a relationship...frustration...yet also devotion. :)

This song seems to be about promising the world to someone in the beginning. But there is something happening in the relationship between these two people and they can't be together at the moment but he wants to let her know that with time everything will turn out right. He needs for her to speak her mind/heart to help him understand. He knows that when she comes out and tells him what is on her mind or in her heart, that they will be able to work things out and be together again. This is how it seems to me. I might be completely wrong, and if I am. I'm sorry.

I think this song is all from the guy's point of view. It seems that he has promised her everything she would ever want (normal love-bird talk), and now he is experiencing second thoughts about this relationship or is scared of what he has fallen into, and just needs more time to figure out if this relationship is what he wants or not. pretty self-explanatory

i'm pretty sure that Bear wrote this about his wife, if i remember correctly. This is just such an amazing song and i love the whole thing! I think that the song is talking about how the relationship is rocky now, and it'll get harder, but if we stay together we can make it though together. Just an amazing song from an amazing band

I thought I remembered them saying (during a performance) that this song was about their family and hoping they would understand that the band would need more time to develop further. It definitely seems like it could be applicable to many things though!

This song makes me cry whenever I hear it...it's so sweet. Which has nothing to do with the lyrics but...I like it a lot.

To me this songs is all about a relationship that works on paper but due to circumstances it isn't working. It is pretty much what is going on in my life at the moment. I met this amazing girl at school right before I left for an internship with Disney. It might have worked when I got back but when I did she was leaving for her internship with Disney a week later. Now she is coming back in a week and 4 days later I am moving back to Florida for a job with Disney. She may move down there once she finishes school and if so, as the song says "Just a few more months and we'll be fine." I randomly heard this song on the radio and instantly thought of her. It's an amazing song and the band is really starting to grow on me.

I have mixed feelings of what I think this song is actually about...but I know in many ways I can apply it to my life right now and I ABSOLUTELY adore it. Definitely one of my all-time favourites, I found it at just the perfect time for me...it seems to be about the timing of everything being wrong- maybe the guy just needs more time to think about their developing relationship and realise what he really wants from it- but he is saying that they will work through any difficulties together even though it may be hard at first. These difficulties could be anything really though...maybe they are going their separate ways for a while and don't know if their relationship will survive the change. Maybe they have financial problems? However, despite the sad undertones there is lots of hope in this song I think! It's saying that don't worry...everything will work out eventually somehow, even if you can't see how. Things will turn around. Yeah there will be change involved, and hard times, and a whole load of confusion...but it's got to get better eventually so as long as they believe that then there should be a happy ending :)
