Farewell Ride (Subtle Remix) Lyrics
“two white horses in a line”
carry me to my burial ground
Some need diamonds.
Some need talk and fireworks.
Some need cars.
Some need ....
Some need jagged glass to line their clothes.
All I need is, all I need is...
“have you ever heard a coffin sound”
hit with ground or…
happen upon an end
in your neck of the everything…
still the morning hour holds gold in its mouth.
you can feel it stinging down
the hollowed arrows of your arm…
glad dogs of the grave,
sat soft on the hard lip of your bed.
some may say this might be your last farewell ride
carry me to my burial ground
Some need talk and fireworks.
Some need cars.
Some need ....
Some need jagged glass to line their clothes.
All I need is, all I need is...
hit with ground or…
happen upon an end
in your neck of the everything…
you can feel it stinging down
the hollowed arrows of your arm…
sat soft on the hard lip of your bed.

I believe this song, Retaken from Beck's version, follows the same vein of thought as the original: A sorrowful song about an overdose of drugs leading to a slow, drudhing death. The white horses in a line allude to the drug referense, as well as the subtle rennovation of the 'end happened upon in the neck'.
