When I first heard Celine preform this song, I was taken back to the time when my fiancé and I first met. We had one of those accidental "right place at the right time" meetings. We both were getting over a bad relationship/time in our lives. These lyrics say it all.

I felt like there was no chance I would but myself through the pain again. I felt defeated by life. But everything changed with that chance meeting. It a was a whole new world to me and I was ready to face it again. It was like I could do it all without fear.

We both made sacrifices and compromises, as is key to making things work. Sometimes taking that leap of faith, even as untimely as it may seem, is worth it!

honestly i am not the biggest fan of celine dion. however i heard this song for the first time on glee!! (love that show!! heres a shout out to the other gleeks out there!) anyway i couldnt get enough of it.i love how it starts off conservative and then gets belted1
to me this song is about someone who really likes another person and just wants to give a relationship a shot. its all about that leap of faith and wondering if you'll make it out of where you are with that other person. if not you know that you will survive even if you may have regrets. you wont always know if that other person will always be there for you but all you can do is hope..
it s like u r unfounded and have nothing left of ur past and no hope for future.. but then u ll find him/her ! so similar to each other heh ! there s nothing obvious about u both and u dont know 'bout ur lifes and something gets to u that there's still a hope .. a chance for making a luck ! even if u know this may last soon ... but u wanna earn it ! wanna have it ! perhaps cuz u have nothing else left ... so take a chance ... will u ?!
i m in this position right now . . . i never guessed this should happen to me ! not in love right now ( i lov him so much as a friend ) but i wanna take a chance with him , cause there's nothing else to do nothing else that can save my relationship with 'im and at the same time doesnt ruin his relation with someone who might be in the future ... damn on it ! a terrible situation ... just hav 2 choices ... take a chance or let go of him ... :(
