The Flame In All Of Us Lyrics
This world is taking me by storm
It makes me feel like running
This place is making me transform
Until I feel like nothing
Its strength in you thats surrounds everything
The way you look out for me
The way you move
Its the flame in all of us
The same that makes us feel this flame in all of us
It makes us feel it
We are the youth from yesterday
We brought you pain and sorrow
That what they say when they pave the way
We are the new tomorrow
Its the strength in you that surrounds everything
The way you look after me
The way you move
Its the flame in all of us
The same that makes us feel this flame in all of us
Its the flame in all of us
That makes is feel it
Its the flame in all of us
The same that makes us feel this flame in all of us
Its the flame in all of us
That makes is feel it
Its the flame in all of us
That makes the change in all of us
And take the pain in all of us
It keeps us alive
Its the flame in all of us
That makes the change in all of us
And take the pain in all of us
It keeps us alive
It makes me feel like running
This place is making me transform
Until I feel like nothing
Its strength in you thats surrounds everything
The way you look out for me
The way you move
The same that makes us feel this flame in all of us
It makes us feel it
We brought you pain and sorrow
That what they say when they pave the way
We are the new tomorrow
Its the strength in you that surrounds everything
The way you look after me
The way you move
The same that makes us feel this flame in all of us
Its the flame in all of us
That makes is feel it
The same that makes us feel this flame in all of us
Its the flame in all of us
That makes is feel it
That makes the change in all of us
And take the pain in all of us
It keeps us alive
That makes the change in all of us
And take the pain in all of us
It keeps us alive

I think its about determination and that no matter what happens, you must have the strength to go on. Trevor realises that god is trying to help him out here, and he shows appreciation for that.
anyone agree?
I think you are right in that God is fighting for us. But as to what the flame is that is in all of us, (I'm assuming he's referring to christians here) the first thing that came to my mind was the Holy Spirit that sustains us and in a sense, keeps us running. God is looking out for us by sending his helper who transforms us into new people. It's that flame that keeps us alive in Christ. I guess I thought of this first because of Pentecost. Makes sense, but there's always more than one way to interpret art.
Also, some of the lyrics are wrong in the above post.
This world has taken me by storm, it makes me feel like running, this place is making me transform until i feel like nothing. It the strength in you and me... that surrounds everything, The way you look out for me, The way you burn.
It's the flame, in all of us, the same, that makes us feel this, falme, in all of us, the sae, that makes us feel it.
We are the youth, of yesterday, we've brought you pain and sorrow, that's what they say, but they paved the way we are the new tomorrow, it's the strength in you and me... that surrounds everything, the way you look out for me, the way you burn.
It's the flame, in all of us, the same, that makes us feel this, flame, in all of us, the same, that makes us, it's the flame, in all of us, the same, that makes us feel, this, flame,in all of us, te same, that makes us feel it
It's the flame in all of us that makes, the change in all of us, that takes, the blame in all of us, and still keeps it alive.
In an interview Trevor said that it also refers to that fact that even though TFK ministers on the hard rock platform they're still a ministry. They don't sing worships songs like Casting Crowns but they still have the same passion or flame in their hearts.
You know, the Holy Spirit is a He, not an 'it'. I agree with all of you, but Trevor should have written "He's the flame in all of us" or "You're the flame in all of us" Not that I'm being pedantic or anything.
^Of course you're not :|
I think the second verse is about baby boomers that bitch about millennials yet fail to realize they brought about most of the problems in recent memory and that millennials will be the ones to clean up their mess.
