Happiness Ltd. Lyrics
Happiness is limited
But misery has no end
Give us somewhere we can go
Instead of one more day of it
The subway doors opened up
We ran as though we had to
Laugh like there was one last chance
To do what lovers might do
With a heart out on parade,
You got up and walked away.
A day can be a thousand years
Or seconds under her shade
What the heart wants all depends
On what she wore out that day
Impressing them impresses her
But only for a minute
Making this more than one day
Seemed almost realistic
With a heart out on parade
You got up and walked away
We'll trim down and turn it up
It doesn't seem to bother her
And no, no, I'm going on forever
It's over now
It's over now
It's over now
It's over now.
It's over now...
But misery has no end
Give us somewhere we can go
Instead of one more day of it
We ran as though we had to
Laugh like there was one last chance
To do what lovers might do
You got up and walked away.
Or seconds under her shade
What the heart wants all depends
On what she wore out that day
But only for a minute
Making this more than one day
Seemed almost realistic
You got up and walked away
It doesn't seem to bother her
And no, no, I'm going on forever
It's over now
It's over now
It's over now
It's over now.

the relativity of happiness and the lack of restrictions of misery.. in other words.. "i must be emo!" what happened to HHH? at least it's only this song.. and Good Day to Die..
it seems to me that the first verse should be:
Happiness is limited But misery has no end Give us somewhere we can go Instead of one more dead end
but i might be wrong.
I wwouldn't say it's emo... It's portraying a truth of life in a mature way. It's not all "everybody hates me. life sucks"
It's more expressing how, there is happiness in this world, but it never seems to stay. And that the misery can last forever if you let it.
