I Think We Are Both Suffering from the Same Crushing Metaphysical Crisis Lyrics

"Dilation of chronal aperture in 3 2 1"
activate
initiate
instruments set to yesterday
at the speed light
across empty plains of time
on a ship of jewels and gold
all of time unfolds
A SEVEN CLICK BLIP
FOR A FIFTEEN EON TRIP
CRAFTING DEJA VU
EVENT HORIZON BOOM
DAYS RESCIND AND LAPSE
BIRTH AFTER DEATH
TOMORROW IS THE PAST
EVENT HORIZON BOOM
CITIES SHRINK AND FADE
INTO THE ICE AGE
DINOSAURS NOW NEW
EVENT HORIZON BOOM
TIME IS BROKEN!!!!!!!!
time after time
time after time
time after time
time
all these machines that dream
make me want to scream
there's no bears or wild things
the future's not what it seems
causality denied
all of time is now mine
the crisis we both share
is you are me when i was there
time after time
it's almost time
time to say goodbye
at the end of time

How small are we compared to space and time?

And was anyone else reminded of Parodius?

TIME.

The climactic build up of this song is the best.

i think this song is the most intense thing i've ever heard.

it seems to be about time being a circle, like the album, ever notice how the wind is the same at the beginning and the end of the album?it would make sense with lyrics like "tomorrow is the past" and "dinosaurs now new" also, event horizon probably refers to black holes, the event horizon being the point at which not even light can escape the incredible gravity. many people believe the ultimate fate of the universe is to eventually be swallowed by black holes. which would then explode, release all the matter of the universe in one instant, a new big bang (event horizon boom!!!) and a new universe.

just my thoughts...

This is pretty epic, only recently got into HORSE the band and missed there tour of Adelaide by a month :(

Love the drums time after time to the 3:30ish mark, consistently changing, its pretty sweet.....no idea about what the song is but ShaneysDCsniper seems to be onto something with it being at the end of the album

This song is very clearly about time travel and the paradox of ones past and future self meeting.

the crisis we both share is you are me when i was there

Vocalist Nathan Winneke states: "A Natural Death is about the futility and arrogance of creation and destruction, the overwhelming scale of space and time, and the brutal majesty of nature, the horror of birth and the beauty of death. Everyone who will ever live will die a natural death, and will soon after be forgotten for eternity. Hopefully this album will serve as a warning to the human race to stop taking itself so seriously, as we have seen the dire consequences of its actions in the future. You are nothing."
