The Reaping Lyrics
Hell must know there have been worse things I've done.
I hold out these hands to receive the sum.
Purge these days.
Will we accept the things we must?
The world will now learn of change to come... or no world.
I hold out these hands to receive the sum.
Purge these days.
Will we accept the things we must?
The world will now learn of change to come... or no world.

incredible
claudio said in an interview that this is the second part to always and never... but the two songs dont seem to be related (i haven't heard it yet so im just going off of lyrics)
bathory...it does follow on from always and never it copies the thermtic motifis in the guitar part but takes on a dark tone x love this album x prise the internet for leaks but i 'll still buy the album t shirt and go to the gigs
i dont know to me this kinda sounds like it would be realated to the light and the glass and not always and never. at least the beginning does.
i'm bummed it didn't start off the way it does in all the other CD's, but it still fits very well
I think this song just sets the tone for the whole album.. it just puts you in this mood. It truly gives you the sense that it's the end, the end of the story, our favorite characters, and the end of the world.
i thought the same thing about how it starts almost exactly the same as the light and the glass. kinda makes sense that it would also go with always and never. i love all of these motifs! (always and never is 2:24 and the reaping is 1:14...interesting? probably not, but i've become a nerd over finding things like that).
