Your baby blues
So full of wonder
Your curly cues
Your contagious smile
And as I watch
You start to grow up
All I can do is hold you tight

Knowing clouds will raise up
Storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms

Story books full of fairy tales
Kings and queens and the bluest skies
My heart is torn just in knowing
You'll someday see the truth from lies

Knowing clouds will raise up
Storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms

Castles they might crumble
Dreams may not come true
But you are never all alone
Because I will always
Always love you

Clouds will raise up
Storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms

This song is simple. Its about protecting someone you love.

Songs have hidden meanings. This song can be taken a few ways, but reminds me of a mothers love for a child. This song reminds me of bringing a child into the world we live in today. If only we could see what children see. Cherish every moment with your kids, because they grow fast. They make us kids again. Be a kid again, dont be afraid to. I personally am a single mom. My daughter is a CHD Warrior with HLHS, and this is my song to her. I sing this to her.

This song could be about -a mothers love to a child

    • religion -protecting someone you love
    • sung at a funeral in memory of

What ever the meaning be, it touches you, and it simply means that who you sing it to, no matter what happens, you will always love them, and they are safe in your arms... You love them unconditionally...no matter what

I'm suprised there aren't any comments on this song its so powerful. I'm not into "christian" music at all I just happened to hear this on the radio one day in fell in love with it. I think its about bringing a child into thwe world and know how dangerouse is it these days, but know you'll do anything in your power to keep them safe.

I think this songhas to do with a mother or fahter's love for thier child, wanting to protect them, knowing thta the world will be hard, but they will always love them. It makes me cry though, because it came at a point in my life when I felt abandoned by my parents, left alone to fend for myself in a way. But I took comfort that even though my paernts weren't there for me, my Heavenly Father God held me "safe in His arms."

i think that the message in this song parallels the love from a parent to a child to God and God's "children"... Frankly, I think it's beautiful and it makes me feel really good to listen to this song. No matter how hard things become, you always have someone, even if it's not a physical person there, helping you through whatever it is. You're always loved unconditionally. It's beautiful.

One of the most powerful songs I've ever heard. I assumed I'd be the only one thinking this was about a mother and her child. It's so sad because it seems like the child is a small, young, innocent child who is soon to be introduced into the corruption of this world. If we could only see the world again as children...

I listen to Way-Fm a lot, and the artist of this song has told her meaning of this song on Way-Fm. She says that her son will always be safe in her arms, and that he's one of the miracles to her. She also says that this means being safe in God's arms when there is no one else to go.

Wow, I never even thought of the idea that it was parents! I guess I always thought it was a girlfriend singing to her boyfriend about trying to protect him. Storybooks part implies that the speaker is aware that the world is not perfect but wishes it could be like in fairy tales she has heard.

same here...I'm not religious at all and I love this song. I love Tool, APC, N.I.N, Slipknot, S.O.A.D, Eminem, and so on but i'm always a sap for a good love song. This is one of those.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
