No Tomorrow Lyrics
I met her in a restaurant
A face that you will not forget
A character you will not find
In a thousand women you have met
Here she comes with a load of sorrows
I don’t care there’s no tomorrow
Tonight, yes tonight I feel good
And tomorrow worse than I should
Her body in a perfect shape
A smile that will turn you down
Resistance is impossible
You could only give in
A face that you will not forget
A character you will not find
In a thousand women you have met
I don’t care there’s no tomorrow
Tonight, yes tonight I feel good
And tomorrow worse than I should
A smile that will turn you down
Resistance is impossible
You could only give in

One of my favourites from them! Such power. The lyrics are a bit more mundane than usual. Judging from the feel of the album, it's probably a sailor finding some joy while docked, before heading off for another mission. The two lines "Here she comes with a load of sorrows" and "A smile that will turn you down" somehow would suggest the woman is not really into it by choice. Maybe the song is about POW women being used by invading armies as prostitutes for the soldiers?
