I don't really get it, especially the last verse. There's something about this song though that almost seems like a lullaby... there's lots of reassurance... It's quite beautiful anyway.
it seems to be about a breakup and i do agree with impurple, it includes a lot of reassurance. he cares for the person, but realizes there is no substance left in the relationship so he is ending it.
I feel like it's about a relationship that has lost it's luster. You share only physical attraction, the love behind everything is the ghost.
I feel like it relates to a girl he loves who is depressed and scared of things. And hes saying the only ghost is himself in the sheet,that he hopes that happiness will find her, and he's assuring her there's nothing else there that could scare or harm her.. The last verse however kinda just throws everybodys predictions out of the water :P
