In this town
I used to be the King here
Now I don't mean a thing here
Where did it all go wrong?
Look around
No one knows my face here
Feel so out of place here
Where did it all go wrong?
I say your name
And I wonder where you are now
I hope you're doing fine now
I hope that you found love
I hope you found love
Oooh oooh
I hope that you found love
Oooh oooh
I've been thinking of you
Every waking hour
Staring at the wall
Trying to find the nerve to call
Look at your photo and I wonder
Are you still on this number
But in my heart I know
You changed that number long ago
Once I was the King
We said goodbye
You begged me not to leave you
I didn't want to leave you
But you know I had to go
I said look for me
When the spring sun shines on the street,
Where we'd meet and plan our future
But I never made it home
I turn around
Head on over to your house yeah
Just in case you might still be there
But now they've pulled it down
Now they've pulled it down
Oooh oooh
I hope that you found love
Wonder what you're doing now
I hope that you found love
Wonder what you're doing now
I hope that you found love
Oooh oooh
I've been thinking of you
Every waking hour
Staring at the wall
Trying to find the nerve to call
Look at your photo and I wonder
Are you still on this number
But in my heart I know
You changed that number long ago
Nowhere is home, and I feel old
My clothes are torn, my heart is cold
With you I was the king
With you my heart would sing
But now my stories done
Now I am no one
But once I was the king
I used to be the King here
Now I don't mean a thing here
Where did it all go wrong?
No one knows my face here
Feel so out of place here
Where did it all go wrong?
And I wonder where you are now
I hope you're doing fine now
I hope that you found love
Oooh oooh
I hope that you found love

Richard Archer (The lead singer) said that parts of this album are autobiographical.
He left Staines for a better life somewhere else thinking that he was getting nowhere in the dead-end town. The band that he was in turned out to be going nowhere and after his life crumbled and the death of his father, Richard returned to Staines. I feel the whole album is about this as well as Can't Get Along from the first album.
THE KING: He returns to Staines, tries to find his old girlfriend and fails. Staines used to be his home, his kingdom, he was known there, but now he's just Richard.
Oops, Can't Get Along is on this album. just adds to the story.
I'm pretty sure he's saying "look at your photo..."
Catch your photo means nothing and listening carefully (and very loud) I can hear an L.
