I personally strongly think that its a love song. The singer is saying to appreciate every moment with the one you love because you never know when you will lose them. This person is scared to fell in love. And that this person didn't realize how good of a bf or gf this person was. And everytime that person had their love they would let them go. And now they finally realized that they really loved them the whole time but its too late and they can never have that person back and all they have left are moments that are forever dead.
I think this song has to do with love. Like, when its just in your grasp and you loose it.

Definitely works as a love song. Its that moment when you see it in their eyes or feel it inside that its over. It goes without saying it's already gone....
But he doesn't want it to come out. "Keep it inside of you." That's what the whole second verse is about as well as the last line of the first verse (so take advantage, take it all, take it all before the moment dies) He knows its over but wants it to last a bit longer before its gone.
The song could also work on a broader light talking about the way people are, how they are dead inside and how much they will disappoint you and how they hurt each other. I could see that one...

It's very reminiscent of the past. I love this song, 2nd/3rd favourite in the album with ease, but I think this is for why it touches me. It feels like it's just saying everything that keeps happening on and on, every day, every night, and the soullessness is there, it keeps hitting worse and worse, it just is honest. It feels as if it expresses everything, losing things that slip through my hands, taking me by surprise, yet knowing it will come.
All of it, it's a song that doesn't lie.
