after watching the video a few times,this is what i got from it.in the video you see a woman and many other people being persectued and killed for a sickness that was visible on the skin.the woman,and most likely everyone else who was killed were stripped down and mocked by the crowd of people,then made to 'walk the plank' so to speak.to me,this has a great comparison to what happened to Jesus and what happens to us every day.Jesus was killed and mocked and crucified for claiming to be the son of God.and we as Christians,living in the world we do today,are persecuted for what we believe in.the 'sickness' the woman had was noticeable,just as Christian faith is noticeable.when people see our faith they mock us and persecute us....at least thats what i got from it

It takes place in a broken down future world where the journey of the main character mimics many themes in the song's lyrics. I originally wrote the lyrics describing the certain decay of the world around us. While more and more people pursue meaningless relationships and desire for material things, I've realized that we have "nothing left" in common. We are seperated by our intentions and the visual concept through the video makes an obvious point that we cannot hide these differences." First comment huh? Well I read somewhere that the video was made in a collapsed civilization wasteland type setting where everything is destroyed because that's what the song is about.
