It's probably about the replacement of religion with the worship of fame and celebrity. What would Jesus do is a common Christian thing where people think how Jesus would act before doing anything - replacing this with Jay-Z refers to celebrity worship, and the verses are all about fame and the benefits, replacing the more traditional values of kindness, love, etc.
