Q&A
Girls that say "Like" Lyrics
It's a 4 letter word
I was never the jealous type.
Everybody's at the party
everybody's drunk.
It's way to late to make the drive back home.
So we just sat there on the coutch alone.
I wont let go
I wont let go
I wont let go
I wont let go.
I called you on the telephone
to see if you were in
but all i got was silence coming from
your end.
And as our hands connected to the metal bars.
We found ourselves closer to the stars.
I wont let go
I wont let go
I wont let go
I wont let go.
And I've tried, how I've tried.
To get your back on my side.
And I can not recall
a more perfect time at all.
And I've tried, how I've tried.
To get your back on my side.
And I can not recall
a more perfect time at all.
I was never the jealous type.
Everybody's at the party
everybody's drunk.
So we just sat there on the coutch alone.
I wont let go
I wont let go
I wont let go.
to see if you were in
but all i got was silence coming from
your end.
We found ourselves closer to the stars.
I wont let go
I wont let go
I wont let go.
To get your back on my side.
And I can not recall
a more perfect time at all.
To get your back on my side.
And I can not recall
a more perfect time at all.

This song was produced one night when I was sitting on a couch and thinking about my early high school years when every Saturday, we could all be found down by the lake around a bond fire and we would just stay there all night, every weekend. Also memories from a time when a small group of fiends and I climbed an old fire tower known as Air Line Tower. The tower had been abandoned since the 70's or 80's so plenty of the wooden steps were rotten but as long as you kept to the metal rails you would be fine. Once you reached the top of the tower, you could see for miles around and we would often just go up there and watch all the things going on around us. That is where the line "And as our hands connected to the metal bars, we found ourselves closer to the stars" came from. This was the first single to come off of "A Corporate Calling".
