the lyrics seem pretty good, capitalization of everything is a bit annoying if you're looking closely though lmao. but anyways, this song is semi-obvious, but i feel like i can clarify a few things hopefully. knowing that this whole cd is concept of the saylor lake murders, etc, it makes this pretty easy.

Soaked In Blood, Only To Be Sterilized. Served Alive, I Want To Be Traumatized.

sterilized can mean a lot of things...basically the two definitions are to clean something, and to make something sexually immobile. i would imagine it's the latter here. i'm thinking this song is obviously about one of the actual murders, and that this person was possibly castrated...maybe even had the normal sterilization procedures. if this is based on a real murder, i could probably look everything up to be sure, which i'll probably do, but this is just interpretation on my part which is kind of fun lol. served alive could refer to possible cannibalism of the body in general, or if i'm right about the castration, maybe eating...that...but i think it refers to the next part. i'm not sure why the person would want to be traumatized.

Don't Tell, Don't Tell. Keep This In Your Locket. Wade In The Water, Careful For Sharks. Wade In The Water, But Not For To Long. The Pain Is Deep And Wide

apparently don't tell refers to whatever she is keeping in her locket. i don't know what that would be though lol. the water and shark part i think refers to being thrown in actual saylor lake after the murder, i think the sharks are just a helper to that idea and not actual sharks, and that the served alive part above could be about this. the water and not too long part should be about finding the body im pretty sure. the pain is deep and wide could refer back to the sterilization.

Cannot Escape From The Lives We Have Made. Where Are We Now, I'm Staring To Forget Just What It Was You Said Exactly, The Love Is Gone Only To Spawn Disastrous Memory.

i don't really know what to make of this...this doesn't seem to fit anything at all. if you read the last section of the song, it starts with im starting to forget and goes to being soaked in blood, so this makes me think that the middle part is being said by the person being killed. for what reason, i don't know.

I'm Starting To Forget. Soaked In Blood, Only To Be Sterilized. Served Alive, I Want To Be Traumatized

close enough to the first part.

Well, the saying Keep This In your Locket seems like it is referring to the Don't Tell part. I'm thinking that Keep this in your locket means "Keep this to yourself". That would go hand in hand with Don't Tell. Just my guess though.

yeah...these murders aren't real lmao. saylor lake is a fictional place. so i can interpret allll day long i guess.

The clean lyrics in the middle threw me for a loop xD Is that Aaron singing?

Adeluz.. After listening many times, I'm pretty convinced that it's Aaron singing. If it's not, it is some other random person. In the lyric insert they thank "Michael Harris", "Wes Borland", and "Daniel Anderson" for additional vocals and instruments on certain tracks. For this song it says "Michael Harris" performed additional vocals.

Another strange thing it says is that all songs were written and performed by Drop Dead, Gorgeous, except "It Sounded Like an Accident" written by DDG, Paul Gray, Daniel Anderson, and Michael Harris.

Go figure.

It's Michael Harris I believe. I don't think Aaron got anything aside from back up, but you can here him good in Worse Than A Fairy Tale in the chorus.

I think the I want to be traumatised part has something to do with this :

Okay. My thoughts are that the killer was already traumatised at one point and that caused the "Red or White Wine?" murder and I believe he thinks that if he gets traumatised once again it will reverse the effect, hence the clean vocals (provided by Michael Harris) (a moment of clarity). But looking back at what he's done it just flipped his switch again and he's back to killing (I'm starting to forget (forget what? his intentions to stop killing perhaps?))

As for the murder: "Wade in the water. Watch out for sharks" A swimming pool murder. Simple as that. "Soaked(water in the pool) in blood(stabbed in the pool and bathing in the blood) only to be sterilized (in They'll Never Get Me (Word With You) the killer cleaned up the victim so maybe in the moment of clarity he picked her out and cleaned her up.)

Is anyone thinking of the possibility that he knows the detective or cop that is intercepting these notes?

This last one seems to be speaking to someone specific.

Sorry to double post, but also, what about the album cover?

I see a couple of possibilities. I think the killer is presumed dead. I see an article that says "boy found dead".

I think that the killer is young, still a boy. "i walked and searched for 18 years and died for nothing"

Also, that thing hanging from his chair is either a police badge, possibly a locket.

Hm. More questions than answers.

I think the thing hanging from his chair is the necklace that was found on the body of murder #11, Tara Everett.
