To me, this song is about a guy who's like isn't the greatest (My path is not behind me, I cling to the shreds). However, there's a girl who makes him feel like life's worth living, she brings him "to another world." Towards the end of the song, he has a dream about the girl (So I sleep, I sleep to dream, I dream to wake up in your arms, Breathe you in and kiss the lips of angel), but wakes up to find out that his dream is a reality (I take comfort in the fact that when I dream, that world is gone).
Awesome band. If you like Rise Against, I highly suggest listening to these guys.
Interesting song. although Ionian is clearly one of those annoying hipsters who post paragraphs about how the song is about a cheesy relationship. but do check them out if you like Rise Against or Ignite.

This song is alright. I love Rise Against, but not Ignite so much. I tried to like them, but their music is kinda boring to me and that guy's voice is just so annoying. In this song it's okay though, 'cause also Tim is singing and I LOVE TIM'S VOICE!
you're right, the acoustic version is awesome... doesn't matter what chasse takes on or off, just go to the homepage of their label adrenaline music and listen to whatever song you want!
