I love this one. The chorus is so catchy and it's the only song my parents seems to actually like on the entire album. (Skeleton Song and Mariella really annoy them!) I don't get why it's called Pumpkin Soup and I have a feeling I'm missing something, but I love it anyway!
It's called Pumpkin Soup because Pumpkin Soup was originally just a document title she had it saved under (don't ask why, maybe she wrote the lyrics beneath a recipe or something, IDK) and her producer/manager/dude liked the title. End of story. I personally love it cause my mum will be all like, "Watcha listenin to?" and I'll say "Pumpkin Soup" and she'll be all like, hun? But its' not called "I just want your kiss" which would be kind of hard to explain to my mother. You know how it goes. :)

Love this! Meaning is fairly obvious, getting into a friends with benefits situation and not really knowing what's going on, but the guy ending up wanting more than her. I don't think she's totally using him, I think she's genuinely confused at first..she does like him, just not enough. As to why it's calling Pumpkin Soup...I'm not sure! To me pumpkin soup is quite a comforting dish, but at the same time is a bit wrong... perhaps that's how she feels about this guy?!
She obviously just wants to be his friend with benefits..doesn't want the relationship..she just wants the physical side of the relationship. To her dismay this guy has actually fallen for her and he wants more than what she is willing to give him.

this video is amazingly cute i love the "kiss me kate" booth. the giant bunnies are slightly frightening though.
