Love this one. In my opinion like many other songs by Cocteau Twins the lyrics are just another form to emphasize the tone and mood of the song. With this one - it's one of the darkest cocteau twins songs I know. It's all about fear and panic. Even the title is alarming, although I have no idea what it means.

First of all: Possibly one of the best Cocteau Twins song titles.

Second of all, beautiful song. If I remember correctly, this is on Lullabies to Violaine.

I think the reason why there are so few comments on so many of the Twins' songs is that the lyrical content is not the focus, but used as a tool to enhance the mood of any given song. Such as the line "Wake takes a mumbling form" (if that is really what she's saying) implies something quite sinister, which supplements the atmosphere.

The Cocteau Twins take us out of our heads and force us to feel for a moment. And that's really not all bad sometimes.
