it could be anywhere from him realizing its not easy being with him so hes pretty much telling his loved one hey if you feel that way to hurt yourself then im just an innocent bystander "im the spectator, motivator" so either something to do with his girl or sending a message to the fans "hey leave me out of what you feel" or like the above two posts say.
