I think it's about this guy who is in a relationship with this girl and is getting a total big head because he's going out with her. And she's telling him to come down to earth and stop "flattering" himself. And she's also asking him to admit that it isn't as good as they thought it would be and stop lying to himself, "flattering" himself that he is in a strong relationship.

This song is really amazing. It's different because it's so far off of what the whole disney-hollywoodrecords-teeny-bopper genre. It's very deep and emotional and enjoyable to a variety of crowds.
