I think its about the boy wanting to have umm... sex with her but she doesn't want to yet

i never thought that this song was about sex until i took a few minutes to actually read the lyrics. it is most definitely about an impatient & anxious boyfriend.

"Sit back and unwind now It's gonna be fine now You can't justify your impatience"

also, in the background "there is no finish line" is sung. this is basically saying that there is no final destination of a relationship that defines it all. a relationship is about all of the little things along the way, not about reaching a final goal of having sex.

What was that line in that one movie? When he looked at her like it would last forever Said to her face that he'd do whatever it took to be her boy but above all what he wanted most Credits roll. Curtains close. Then you whispered in my ear Together we're one in a million (Don't be afraid) Together we're one in a million (Don't be afraid)

that is definetly the best part of the song...it kinda reminds me of how me and my bf kinda just look into eachothers eyes and the beat is amazing...but aly and aj definetly grew up alot you can tell by how there music changed and i think this song means that shes together with a guy and shes giving him a chance to stay with her.. or leave [it] well thats just a guess...:-*

I most definently think that they are talking about a guy who wants to have sex, but they are saying no to him. I also think that they want to save sex for marriage and are alluding to the Bible when it says that after marriage, when two people have sex they become "one." (Ephesians 5:31 or Mark 10:8) I think that is what the lyrics are referring to when they say "together we're one." Then when they say "I can't help but feel like I'm one, one in a million" they mean that they feel like everyone is having sex and that they are one of the very few that don't want to yet.

YOU ALL SAID EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED TO SAY! Hehehe... Yes, it's DEFINITELY about sex.

I think "Flattery" also references to a guy trying to get a girl into bed too!
