Drella Lyrics
You’re busy drawing hearts
You run your fingers down the glass, an open mirror
Now you’re sleeping in the front seat like a crushed leaf on the concrete night
Murder ring
What are you talking about?
Murder ring
And how did you get into my house?
I think that you buried me too deep
You had your way
You almost seem alive
But I’ve been driving you around
I didn’t think it could have lasted
Now we broke another bracelet
Tore it off your wrist tonight
Tonight the center of the sun will separate into sparks
They’re climbing up the sky and down the dark
Do you think you’d better love me back?
You said you want someone who actually cares
But I’ll say what I want because nobody’s around when I talk
It feels better to fall asleep alone
Because that’s the only way I know
But I’ve been driving you around
I didn’t think it could have lasted
Now we broke another bracelet
Tore it off your wrist tonight
And now that Cinderella’s gone, she swallowed up the sea
A middle class explosion could be nice
If we’re the dynamite
Let us prey
Don’t you miss me?
Or the night we snuck out your window
Oh, because baby, you’re so crazy now
Feels like I’m not the only one now
And I can finally see the light
Oh there’s a million stars tonight
A single one could save my life
Red water leaves us as we collide
Oh Drella, Drella, red water leaves us
And I just drive
You run your fingers down the glass, an open mirror
Now you’re sleeping in the front seat like a crushed leaf on the concrete night
Murder ring
What are you talking about?

And how did you get into my house?

The beginning, from "You're busy drawing hearts.." to the second "Murder ring" makes me think about a girl (I'll call her Drella, because that makes sense) was with some other guy, and they broke up, or something...? Then from "And how did you get into my house" to the first "Tore it off your wrist tonight" gives the notion that perhaps he's trying to comfort Drella, because she came over to his house all distressed-like and he was trying to help her. And the bracelets, I agree, reminds me of sex bracelets. So sex may have been involved in the "cheering up" process, lmao. Anyway, then between all this, the singer (I don't know the lead's name, sorry) kinda had feelings for Drella...? And all this meant more to him than to her. (That covers from "Tonight the center of the sun will separate into sparks" to the second, "Tore it off your wrist tonight." Then, from "And now Cinderella's gone" to "Feels like I'm not the only one now" it seems like the singer is trying to get Drella to see that they should be together, and he'd wishing she would see it. Finally, the rest of the song just seems like he's wishfully thinking to himself about her as he perhaps is driving where they drove before while he was comforting her (it's mentioned earlier in the song something about driving). But, that's just what I got from reading the lyrics:) You may disagree.
Also, it's my favorite song by them, I think it's awesome:D
the lead singer is Vic Fuentes

I have to agree with BrookeMusicc.
These lyrics are great.
And so is the song.
Pierce the Veil is simply amazing. =)
hmm.. so i'm thinking this song is about a friends with benefits situation
but there is actually feelings involved. but he knows that she's not his.. and she knows he goes with other girls too and she also knows he's a crazy boy but then he realizes she's starting to be more like him now... and im not sure if thats good or bad for him.
"Oh, because baby, you’re so crazy now Feels like I’m not the only one now"

i dont think the lyrics are 'murder ring', but 'murdering' i could just be sounding like an ass, tho.
drella was a nickname for andy warhol. its a cross between cinderella and dracula.
im not sure if thats where they got it from, but thats what it was.
i don't understand why this song has no comments.
it's amazing
"Now we broke another bracelet Tore it off your wrist tonight"
that part is sung so amazingly.
this song is just amazing
"Now we broke another bracelet Tore it off your wrist tonight"
sex bracelets?
Is the title of the song the girl's name? Drella? I want to know if that's actually a name.
@EliAmbrosia it's not- the term Drella is Dracula + Cinderella, originally created by Lou reed and John Cale for an album for Andy warhol, called "songs for Drella" this is the likely inspiration :)

Its short for Cinderella i think..
because "And now that Cinderella’s gone, she swallowed up the sea A middle class explosion could be nice"
hmmm?
I also think this is about an engagement gone bad, poor vic, he always talks about a "ring" in all of his songs, did anyone catch on to that?
